In a Nutshell
My academic interests include language pedagogy and the integration of technology into the foreign language classroom. I am fascinated by the potential technology holds for the modern language learner and educator. My thesis work involved the use of a Facebook group for the purpose of language learning and teaching. I have also published and presented on various topics regarding the use of technology in the foreign language classroom. Other areas of interest to me include bilingual education, teaching English to speakers of other languages (TESOL), educational gamification, informal learning in digital settings, teacher education, language death and revitalization, language learner motivation, history of language methodology, and many more!
